Born in Milwaukee and raised in Menomonee Falls, Paul loved problem solving with numbers at an early age and set his path toward becoming an accountant starting in high school. He went to UW-La Crosse to spread his wings (Go Eagles!) and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in German (which, admittedly, is a bit rusty these days).
In 2010, Paul took his first steps in his professional career by taking a job with a large, national CPA firm in Milwaukee. During his 14 years spent there, he excelled in many areas including business and individual tax & advisory services to a variety of clients, both large & small. Paul’s career was accelerated through his high-quality client service, responsiveness and knack for finding creative & innovative solutions. He has been told that he shatters the traditional expectation clients have of their CPA because of his engaging personality and active listening which facilitates collaborative strategies beyond band-aid solutions.
Paul being “not your typical accountant” aligned perfectly with Edge Advisors, where Paul joined near the end of 2023. Paul’s excitement to be involved with his clients to provide value on a consistent basis through his business guidance while developing strong, personal relationships aligned perfectly with the values that Edge adheres to.
Paul and his wife, Maggie, got married in 2022 and currently live in Menomonee Falls. They are excited to start their family with a baby on the way in 2024. The original addition to their family was a mini golden doodle, Maverick, who has boundless energy to make up for his lack in stature.
Maggie and Paul make a conscious effort to expand their horizons with various travel locations that involve everything from national parks for hiking to tropical beach vacations to fully rejuvenate in the sun. They are also consistently on the search for new and exciting restaurants as his wife is an admitted foodie who is always eager to try new suggestions.
