Growing up in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities, Sean has lived in Minnesota for all of his educational and professional life. Shortly after graduating from the University of Minnesota, Sean obtained his CPA license and spent the next 3 years working at one of the largest public accounting firms in the United States. He quickly became known for his responsiveness, attention to detail, and ability to offer guidance to other staff members and clients. During his tenure at the firm, he gained invaluable experience in both local and federal tax strategies, providing him with the tools necessary for his clients’ unique and complex tax problems.
After working in public accounting, Sean transitioned to the accounting department of a multinational insurance company. After working for over 4 years with some of the best accounting and tax experts in the insurance world, Sean knew he missed the interactions and relationships he was able to develop with his clients. This feeling ultimately led him back to the public accounting world with Edge Advisors.
At Edge, Sean is able to work one on one with clients offering support and advice to their unique business needs. His goal is to ensure each client understands the financial health of their business and is always eager to assist his clients in achieving their professional and personal financial success.
Sean currently lives just west of Minneapolis with his two dogs: a little Dachshund and a German Shepherd that make quite the duo. In his free time, Sean spends a lot of time outdoors going on walks, hunting, and fishing. Sean is also a Gopher football and Vikings fan and can often be found watching a game on the weekend.
